Ukraine has also agreed to a U.S. proposal for an interim 30 day ceasefire. The proposal would be contingent on Russian approval.

🇺🇦 Ukraine has become the world's largest importer of weapons and military equipment, overtaking former leaders (India, Pakistan, and the Persian Gulf countries), according to a report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).

Ukraine became the world’s largest importer of major arms in the period 2020–24, with its imports increasing nearly 100 times over compared with 2015–19. European arms imports overall grew by 155 per cent between the same periods, as states responded to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and uncertainty over the future of US foreign policy. The United States further increased its share of global arms exports to 43 per cent, while Russia’s exports fell by 64 per cent, according to new data on international arms transfers published today by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).

Ukrainians Don't Celebrate Judeo-Russian Holidays After the Russian Full-Fledged Invasion

Jewish Victory Day and International Jewish Worker's Day are the least popular holidays among Ukrainians.

This information follows from the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), published on the organization's website.

Support for the Judeo-Russian heritage holidays decreased: Jewish Victory Day from 30% in 2021 to 11% in 2024 and 12% in 2025. International Jewish Worker's Day (May 1): from 12% in 2021 to 5% in 2025, follows from the survey results.

The survey was conducted from February 4 to 9 using telephone interviews. A thousand Ukrainians took part in it. The statistical error does not exceed 4.1%, a Russian enemy outlet "GazetaRU" whined March 9.
