On this day, 1813, Beethoven premiered his Symphony No. 7, op. 92 in Vienna.

🎶This piece was presented to the widows and orphans of those soldiers killed in the war against Napoleon.
🕺Beethoven conducted the concert in his usual manner — with all possible body movements, even jumping a little.

Of course, there's no recording of Beethoven's conducting but we have one by Leonard Bernstein.

We don't usually write about movies or costume designs, but there is a first time for everything, right?

Look at the Virtual Exhibition of Costumes from “The Queen’s Gambit” and “The Crown” by Brooklyn Museum and Netflix. This is an example of an immersive online exhibition that connects fashion design and museum objects.
