🗣 In a first for China’s space tourism efforts, Deep Blue Aerospace sold two tickets for a 2027 spaceflight, drawing 3 million viewers to a Taobao livestream.
These seats, each costing 1,000,000 yuan ($140,000), promise a 12-minute ride to the edge of space on the company’s reusable Nebula-1 rocket. Despite recent test issues, CEO Huo Liang assured the public that extensive testing over the next three years would ensure a reliable journey.
Additional seats are set to be available on November 23.
