🗣FRSC Urges Caution After Fatal Crash in Lagos
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Lagos Command has issued a stern warning against reckless driving following a fatal multi-vehicle crash on the Kara Bridge section of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The accident, involving a Volvo truck, a Toyota Hummer bus, a Benz bus, and an unregistered motorcycle, claimed one life.
FRSC Commander Kehinde Hamzat reported that the crash, which occurred at 3:33 a.m., was caused by speeding, dangerous overtaking, and loss of control. FRSC teams, alongside police and LASTMA, managed the scene, securing traffic flow and assisting the injured.
Hamzat emphasized the urgent need for responsible driving and collaboration among all road users to prevent such tragedies.
