One day, my teacher told me:

"Cristiano, lose that ball already!"

I was late for class, running in with a ball in my hand. She was convinced football was a waste of time.

"Football won’t feed you," she said. "School is what you should focus on, but all you think about is that ball!"

Now, I smile when I think back to those moments from my childhood.
