👑 Senior Front-End (React.js) Engineer for Medical Appointment Scheduling Service at DataArt
✏️ Responsibilities:
40 – 70%: development (implementing changes, new features, components, etc.).
10 – 20%: support of quality (writing units and integration tests).
5 – 20%: support, bug fixing (fixing the existing errors in the code and implementing simple changes).
5 – 15%: meetings (regular Scrum meetings, meetings with the clients etc.).

About the Project:
DataArt has a new client. It’s a healthcare startup. Many of the client’s employees (including CTO) worked in Amazon, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Google. This affects the team’s culture and determines the overall focus on engineering. The code quality requirements are very high, but there are no strictly speaking “managers” in the company. The code is written by everybody, and the CTO personally reviews the code and participates in technical discussions.
The company does not practice classic Test-Driven Development, but all code that enters the repository must be covered by service tests. Thanks to this requirement the overall coverage of business logic tests has been almost at 100% for many years. Therefore, manual testing is minimized.

- 6+ years of web development experience.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES5, ES6).
- Solid knowledge and practical experience with React.js framework.
- Solid knowledge of Redux.
- Fundamental knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, HTTP.
- Skills in solving algorithmic problems.
- Good spoken English.
Would Be a Plus:
- Experience working with AWS.
- Experience working with GQL.
- Understanding of AJAX, WebSockets.
- Experience in implementing unit tests in JavaScript using Karma, Jasmine, Jest, Mocha etc.
- Experience with such CSS frameworks as Twitter Bootstrap, Foundation etc.
- Knowledge of build automation and bundling tools: Grunt, Gulp or Webpack.
