The Ondo State FRSC Sector Commander, Dr. Samuel Ibitoye, confirmed the incident, which occurred at approximately 10:14 am on Saturday.
Dr. Ibitoye stated:
Rescue efforts by the FRSC, police, and fire services transported the injured survivor to the Federal Medical Centre, Owo, while the deceased were taken to the hospital morgue.
Dr. Ibitoye urged drivers to maintain their vehicles and practice patience on the roads, emphasizing that passengers should speak out against reckless driving to promote road safety for all.
