🗣 Lokpobiri Inspects Fuel Stations, Ensures Product Availability
Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, Minister of State for Petroleum, visited fuel stations in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, to ensure the availability of petroleum products and prevent exploitation of consumers. Arriving at the Bayelsa State International Airport at 11:30 a.m., he toured several stations, including Rain Oil and NNPC affiliates.
Lokpobiri checked that the correct volume of fuel was dispensed to customers and expressed satisfaction with the availability of products, thanks to the deregulation policy under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He emphasized that fuel scarcity and price hikes have been avoided during the festive season.
Lokpobiri also ordered adjustments at two stations to correct fuel dispensing and warned against sharp practices, urging that strict legal action be taken against violators.
