After Poland and (very likely) the Netherlands, Greece also said no to the German appeal to supply Patriot batteries to Ukraine via the German initiative. Prime Minister Mitsotakis ruled a delivery of Patriot/S-300 out because they are a critical deterrent capability for Greece.
This means that the circle of countries that could at least in theory provide Patriot batteries to Ukraine is getting smaller and smaller. The US is and remains the most likely, followed by Sweden.
So far (at least publicly), with €150 million in funding, only the Netherlands has made a firm commitment to the German initiative which aims to strengthen Ukraine's air defence in the short term.
