113 AIR TARGETS SHOT
On the night of December 25, 2024, the russian occupiers carried out a combined strike on Ukrainian fuel and energy sector facilities with missiles of various types, air, land and sea-based, as well as Shahed-type strike UAVs and other types of simulator drones. In total, the radio-technical troops of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine detected and tracked 184 enemy air targets:
- 2 KN-23 ballistic missiles;
- 10 S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles;
- 12 Caliber cruise missiles;
- 50 Kh-101/Kh-55cm cruise missiles from Tu-95ms strategic bombers;
- 4 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided aircraft missiles from tactical aircraft;
- 106 Shahed strike UAVs/drone simulators of various types.
According to preliminary data, as of 12:00, 113 air targets were confirmed to have been shot down:
- 55 Kh-101, Kh-55cm, Kalibr cruise missiles;
- 4 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided aircraft missiles;
- 54 Shahed strike UAVs/drone simulators of various types, another 52 did not reach their targets (lost in location).
The enemy attacked Ukrainian energy facilities in the Kharkiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk and Zaporizhia regions. Unfortunately, there are casualties as a result of the russian attack.
The Air Force is ready to repel the attack and continues to perform tasks to protect the state's airspace
